Reading...eww

To be honest with you i hate reading books. Im not very good at reading comprehension and i think reading page by page is boring!!!
BUT i do like reading the sports section every day, that keeps me entertained because of course i love sports.

Life in the future

Well lets start with college i had big dreams, i wanted to go to syracuse to study communications and be a sports broadcaster..since then my plans have changed a little. I am now going to BCC for 2 years to study communications and mass media. I may want to continue on the path of being a sports broadcaster but that may be a defualt anyways. This past year ive come to love writing, journalism writing. I love wirting for the school newspaper and about sports but im afraid there wont be a job out there for me after i graduate. I want nice cars and a big house just like every teenager, but the reality is that probably wont happen for most of us. Eventually i want to get married and start a family but dont worry thats years away.

Hows America doing?

Yes every day we see negative things in the news. I know in journalism its what sells papers, and people want to hear about controversay. How come you cant write about the good to. I know its nice to see some controversay and to be able to come to school and talk about it, but what about the pisitives in the world. The good that people do and the happy things. It was nice to see the articles of Obama but at the same time they still talked about the poor economy. I notice the negativeness especially in sports. Like my column in the Tiger Eye when i watch sportscenter or read the sports section its about the bad guys in sports or the tem with controversay. I never see them talk about someone like Ernie Davis, or a african american coach who wins a championship. I think America is in ehh ok shape. The economy is really hurting americans and especially there jobs. Im hopeing our new President can help turn things around but i know its still a while away before anything good comes.

Technology in the world

technology has changed America both good and bad.

The good- students have easier acess to internet, makeing it easier for them to study, or do research iformation for projects. Cell phones, texting, make it easier for people to communicate with eachother, without having to actually call them. This some people call bad. The technology has made life easier foreveryone but at the same time there are some bad things to technology.

The bad- with cell phones and texting now people are quick to use "AIM" language instead of really communicating with eachother. Alot of adults say that its makeing americans dumber as a nation. Also with technology people can say things to other people that arent very nice and can maybe start a fight, also pictures may be posted on the internet that are inapropriate.

Web 2.0 has changed America and every day more and more technology is coming out.

What Makes Me Happy

Writing for the school newspaper...

I started writing for the school newspaper earlier this year as art of a requirement but i have now written 13 articles in 2 papers and have come to find a passion for it. I take pride in my writing and especially when i write about sports, sports has always been my passion i live for sports...I havent always been the best at any sport ive played in but watching them and writing about them does make me happy. I want to continue writing for the paper and maybe when i graduate college write for a newspaper.
