I wish i could fly

I wish i could fly too. It would be fun to fly all over and see what life was like at a different angle. I could also fly all over to watch my favorite sports teams play for free because i could sneak in by flying into the stadium, pretty nifty!

My website at age 17

If i had a website it would definintly be devoted to my selling of jerseys. I would make a website where people can order jerseys and everything. Then i could make even more money. If you dont already know i sell authentic nfl jerseys for 4o dollars a piece. Normally in stores they are over 100 dollars a piece. Its very succesful but does take alot of work behind the scenes.

scary snakes

Snakes scare me..theres just something about those slimy poisonus creepy slithering things that scare the bageebers out of me. I will never ever hold a snake in my life. Did you know theres this religion that dances with poisonous snakes and drinks a poison and some people actually die cause of the snake bites but they think that it must be what god wanted. One guy has been bit 72 times but hasnt died. Thats discusting, and rediculous how can you do that to yourself.

Somebody i would like to meet

I would love to meet Nolan Ryan. He was an all sat, hall of famer, and the ebst pitcher of all the time. He broke many records and played for 3 teams one of which is my favorite team the Texas Rangers. I was also named after him.
But if i really had to chose i would have to say my Grandpa. He died when i was just 3 months old, and i have no memory of ever seeing him or what he even looks like, other then what ive seen in pictures. I think it would be awesome to meet my Grandpa again and to give him a nice big hug

the perfect first date

Well as a guy i dont think its up to the male to decide the perfect date. I believe the girl should decide the perfect date and the guy being such the nice respectful young gentleman that he is will make that wish come true. Of course i want to enjoy what im doing but if i can make my girlfriend happy, thats all that counts.

Whos the most annoying celebrities

I cant just chose one celebrity who really bugs me but i can name a couple. Of course they come from the wide world of sports. 3 things come to mind when i hear the word annoying, Terrell Owens, Michael Phelps, and...Steriods.
T.O.- OK OK enough with all the drama hes been on 3 different teams in the past decade or so and every time he stirs up drama. Wether its with the qwuarterback, coaches, or managment theres always something T.O. is "crying" about, yes he even cried over his quarterback Tony Romo. If T.O. doesnt get the ball enough he whines and whines. Yet statistics show that he got the ball thrown to him the most out of the entire team.. Go figure! Enough already...COME ON MAN!
Michael Phelps- The 14 olympic medal star swimmer is in the news alot now, and its not cause of his breast stroke, freestyle, or backstroke, but because of smokeing some weed. Now come on, i think this is being taken way out of line by the press and media. Phelps is 23 and like 90% of the population under the age of 25 hes gonna do it at somepoint. He admitted his mistake and apologized, let it go already. I wanna see you hop in the pool im sure he'll still beat you even after hitting the bong...COME ON MAN!!
Steriods- I think i can vouch for.....every single American. Were sick of hearing about steriods, get on with it already. We know Bonds shot them in his butt, i mean lets look at him in Pittsburgh and then in San Francisco, that wasnt muscle milk. Then theres Mcguire. and every year the hall of fame ballots are put out he gets less and less votes, hes never gonna make it so lets not dedicate 30 minutes of sportscenter to this rule breaker. Now we have the mitchell report and the whole scandal with Roger Clemens. Trials, and evidence, and books coming out, this is all going way to far. Just get the trials over with and move on with the game. We all love baseball, but not all this....COME ON MAN!!

Our 44th president

Barack Obama, what an honor it is to live in a era and see the changes happen, good and bad. Yes we are in a recession and the economy is in the worst shape it been for decades, and unfortunantly its afecting every one of us. But in the light of everything we have elected our first black president. Who would ever thought that was possible? Obama has promised hope and change and progress, well hes already given us all hope by showing that a black man can be the leader of the country, and the major changes and progress are still to come but of course you cant work magic with only a couple weeks in the oval office. I think Obama will follow through with his "promises" I believe this country will turn around again before the next election. Its time for change its been 8 years on a downhill spiral with bush as prez and now is the time for action and obama can do it!

Wild Card

I went and saw the movie taken last night. I remember reading the post the other day and they gave it a horrible review and bashed the movie. I thought the movie was great. It was very disturbing how the girls got treated and were trafficed the way they were, but that guy was pretty kick ***. The movie was exciting, and these critics never know what there talking about.

Life in the future

Well lets start with college i had big dreams, i wanted to go to syracuse to study communications and be a sports broadcaster..since then my plans have changed a little. I am now going to BCC for 2 years to study communications and mass media. I may want to continue on the path of being a sports broadcaster but that may be a defualt anyways. This past year ive come to love writing, journalism writing. I love wirting for the school newspaper and about sports but im afraid there wont be a job out there for me after i graduate. I want nice cars and a big house just like every teenager, but the reality is that probably wont happen for most of us. Eventually i want to get married and start a family but dont worry thats years away.

Hows America doing?

Yes every day we see negative things in the news. I know in journalism its what sells papers, and people want to hear about controversay. How come you cant write about the good to. I know its nice to see some controversay and to be able to come to school and talk about it, but what about the pisitives in the world. The good that people do and the happy things. It was nice to see the articles of Obama but at the same time they still talked about the poor economy. I notice the negativeness especially in sports. Like my column in the Tiger Eye when i watch sportscenter or read the sports section its about the bad guys in sports or the tem with controversay. I never see them talk about someone like Ernie Davis, or a african american coach who wins a championship. I think America is in ehh ok shape. The economy is really hurting americans and especially there jobs. Im hopeing our new President can help turn things around but i know its still a while away before anything good comes.

Technology in the world

technology has changed America both good and bad.

The good- students have easier acess to internet, makeing it easier for them to study, or do research iformation for projects. Cell phones, texting, make it easier for people to communicate with eachother, without having to actually call them. This some people call bad. The technology has made life easier foreveryone but at the same time there are some bad things to technology.

The bad- with cell phones and texting now people are quick to use "AIM" language instead of really communicating with eachother. Alot of adults say that its makeing americans dumber as a nation. Also with technology people can say things to other people that arent very nice and can maybe start a fight, also pictures may be posted on the internet that are inapropriate.

Web 2.0 has changed America and every day more and more technology is coming out.

What Makes Me Happy

Writing for the school newspaper...

I started writing for the school newspaper earlier this year as art of a requirement but i have now written 13 articles in 2 papers and have come to find a passion for it. I take pride in my writing and especially when i write about sports, sports has always been my passion i live for sports...I havent always been the best at any sport ive played in but watching them and writing about them does make me happy. I want to continue writing for the paper and maybe when i graduate college write for a newspaper.
